Summary: There has long been the saying, “You get what you pay for”, and in the case of Adventure DC Tours you get so much more. We had the pleasure of having Barry, the owner and operator of Adventure DC Tours, take us on the 4 hour+ tricycle cab tour, and it was absolutely the highlight of our trip! Even our 15-year-old daughter, with the typical teen’s need to look at their phone, only had it out to take pictures. If you look at a map of the capital, and all the green space around the national mall, then you have a good idea of what the tour covered. We saw the entirety of the mall, the ellipse, the tidal basin, and every building and monument along the way, with the freedom to stop where we wanted. Barry is an absolute encyclopedia of knowledge about everything we saw and took us to hidden away little spots we’d never heard of before. We whole-heartedly recommend Adventure DC Tours to anyone looking for the best personalized tour in DC!
